HexProtect is an anti-fraud and risk tool for online merchants, PSP’s and processors developed by Hexopay. It is an independent module of our gateway designed to monitor and identify suspicious transactions and reduce the risk associated with the different types of fraud. Hextprotect strike’s the right balance between payment fraud protection and approval rates for your business. You can apply risk scoring and routing logic to different segments and criteria with our easy-to-use solution.
HexProtect can automatically check transactions according to “black” and “white” lists, as well as to a set of predefined rules that describe a situation where a transaction may be fraudulent or for some reason recommended to reject.
You can create individual rules that will allow the cards to pass transaction checks easily, to be additionally reviewed and verified or rejected if considered suspicious.
These rules can be applied to a merchant in general or can be performed in the individual sites instead. Such flexibility allows creating various check frames even inside one merchant’s account if it has several sites which require an individual approach.
Combine the power of our risk management and routing with 3DS2. So you can boost risk protection for payments with specific risk profiles.
The Hexopay Hypersonic Gateway is equipped with our own 3DS2 module. This adds additional protection with digital fingerprints and integrating device based bio-metrics. As it’s our own module we can place enhanced 3DS2 procedures where the acquirer has not yet enabled or even where the geography means the acquirer is not obliged to enable 3DS2. As you expand into new markets with new acquirers this is another dimension to managing new risks.
